The CMS Dance Team

One of the biggest pleasures I had this year was being able to meet and photograph the dancers at Central Middle School in Central City, La. Each girl was so talented and such a joy to work with.

This year the CMS dance team accomplished amazing things making history!! To begin, they earned the Team Full Out award, placed 3rd in their Home Routine and earned all blue ribbons giving them a superior rating.

They placed 2nd place in the MS challenge for Hip-Hop, and 3rd place for the LA challenge. They also grabbed the title for State Champions in Kick.

They had a great run at Nationals as well this year, finishing 10th in Hip Hop and 5th in Kick.

These girls obviously have amazing things ahead of them for their team, as well as their individual dance careers.

Their coaches, Hannah Williams and Alison Forbes are such amazing and dedicated women who have a heart for the team as a whole and each girl individually.

A big thanks to all of them for allowing me to be a small part of their journey.
